Arrive Bagdogra
Airport ,meet and transfer to Siliguri. Check into hotel for
overnight. At leisure to visit the Bidhan Market near Hill Car
Road. Overnight in hotel. |

Siliguri- Darjeeling |
| |
Transfer to Railway
Station to board the World Heritage Toy Train for Darjeeling. From
Sukhna station onwards the steep mountain climb begins as the
small narrow gauge tracks pass through forests of teak, magnolia,
and sal trees. Straing itself against the steep gradients, the
train negotiates various loops and there are no railway signals
even at the stations. You will pass through the middle of Kurseong
town, till it reaches Ghoom at 8,000 feet, the highest railway
station in the world. The train starts descending to Darjeeling
through the Batasia Loop. Steaming into Darjeeling one feels a
sense of exhilaration similar to that of a voyager after a long
odyssey. Transfer to hotel for overnight. |

Pre- dawn drive to
Tiger Hill to watch the magnificent sight of the sun rise over
the Kanchendzonga range. On a clear day you can see Makalu
range & Mount Everest in Nepal. Return to Darjeeling en-route
visit Yiga Choling Monastry at Ghoom, Batasia Loop Station,
War Memorial. Return to hptel. Later in the day visit the
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Observatory Hill. Spend
the rest of the day at leisure at the bustling Chowrasta, the
main promenade of Darjeeling. Overnight in hotel. |

Drive to Pemayangste
in the western part of Sikkim en-route visit Tukvar Tea Gardens
along the River Rangeet, On arrival check into hotel for overnight |

Situated at an
altitude of 7,000feet,Pemayangste is the most important monastery
of the Nyingmapa sect built in 17th century by Latsun Chembo.
Thereafter visit Rabdanste, the 2nd capital city of Sikkim and
Singa Chelling Monastery. Continue drive to Yuksom via Kechopari
Lake, the “Wishing Lake”. Situated at an altitude of 7,000 feet
amidst dense forest. On arrival Yuksom transfer to hotel. |

Drive to Gangtok the
Capital of Sikkim en-route visit Ralong Monastery at Rabongla with
a halt at the ,Temi Tea Plantation. Check in and overnight halt. |

City tour of Gangtok
visiting Institute of Tibetology, Phurba Chorten , Enchey
Monastery, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Afternoon visit Rumtek
Monastery. Evening at leisure at the Ridge the main promenade of
Gangtok. Overnight in hotel. |
