In time transfer to Palam airport to connect flight for
Bagdogra. Upon arrival in Bagdogra drive to Martam that is 30
kms before Gangtok - the capital city of Sikkim. Check in at
Martam Village Resort. Overnight stay. |

Am. Walk from the
resort to SANG MONASTERY. PM. Excursion visit to RUMTEK MONASTERY
- this monastery was rebuilt by H.H the 16th reincarnated Gyalwa Karmapa, head of Kagyu sect. The monastery is a close replica of
H.H. Karmapa’s monastery at Tsorphu in Tibet. It now functions as
the headquarters of the Dharma Chakra Religious Centre. Here one
can find some of the most unique objects of the world. Overnight
stay at Martam Village Resort. |

MARTAM - GANGTOK - MARTAM |

Day for visiting
the sightseeing places of Gangtok which includes, DO DRUL
CHORTEN - one of the most important Stupas of Sikkim built by
Trulsi Rinpoche head of the Nyingma order which contains rare
Mandalas of Dorji Phurpa along with other holy books and is
encircled by 108 prayer wheels, INSTITUTE OF TIBETOLOGY,
ENCHEY MONASTERY - this 200 year old monastery was built on
the site blessed by the great tantric master Lama Druptab
Karpa who was known for his flying powers, COTTAGE INDUSTRIES,
DEER PARK that is heaven for nature lovers and houses the
Himalayan Beer, Tibetan Vulture along with various species of
Deer. Return to Martam in the evening for the overnight stay. |

Start early in the morning for a full day visit to YUMTHANG -
THE VALLEY OF RHODODENDRONS. Return late evening to Martam for
overnight stay. |

Start early in the morning for a visit to TSANGU ( CHHANGU )
LAKE. Return to Martam in the evening for the overnight stay. |

Excursion visit to PHODANG MONASTERY. This is one of the six
major monasteries of Sikkim belonging to the Karmapa sub-sect
of Kargyudpa monastery. Beautiful mural paintings adorn the
walls of this monastery. |
